BF:BC2 Support?
Since the COD series has now been hijacked by IWnet, many clans are moving to BF:BC2 for the next game. Can we ask, or are there any plans for MORKEye to add support for BC2?

Thanks in advance

RE: BF:BC2 Support?
MORKEye was written to run directly on the game server and since as far as I know we can't have our own dedicated servers then it's unlikely.... however.... BF:BC2 does (I believe) use punkbuster therefore in theory it should support pbucon streams. If this is the case then I see no reason why MORKEye couldn't be adapted... problem is I would need exclusive use of a game server in order to run tests & develop the software.... and since I can't run my own and I can't afford to pay for one then you can see my problem.... sorry..

So.... If you were given control of a rented server so testing, etc could occure there "may" be something that could be done?

RE: BF:BC2 Support?
"may" yes... first I would need to ensure I could establish a pbucon connection (anyone with access to a server should 'possibly' be able to do this) since this is what MORKEye uses.... Setting up a pbucon connection in COD required a manual change of the pb cfg file and the addition of a pbucon.use file to the server.... easy when running your own dedi but I've never rented any server so I don't know what access someone would have to a rented box...

As you can see there are several un-answered questions to be addressed even before I start....

File and FTP access is extremely limited at this point. However pbucon is availible for use. There is no access to the pb folder at this point, it has to be done with an RCON tool or through game console commands.

I've just been told that BF:BC2 will be allowing unranked servers to be hosted on clan dedi boxes... is this true..??
