RE: Nil or old ucon entry found
My mistake, after checking back my server or game ip is set to 127.0.0.1
This seems to work fine. No luck yet running it from my laptop on the network.

I'm having the same problem.
Program keeps trying to restart only to have error message reappear.
Anyone have any suggestions on what is causing this error?
Info: nil or old ucon entry found.
Info: attempting to update ucon

RE: Nil or old ucon entry found
I consistently got the "Nil or old UCON entry found" message. I downloaded and installed the latest version of Morkeye (2.1.1) and the problem was resolved. I simply copied the extracted program files into my Morkeye directory and confirmed the overwrite of the existing files. I fired up Morkeye and everything was back in business.

Hope this helps.

RE: Nil or old ucon entry found
I have had the "old ucon entry found" problem and spent many hours trying to get to the bottom of it. We had one user (the poerson who originally tested it) who could successfully connect but nobody else could. We wanted to move Morkeye to a windows server so we could run it 24/7 (we can't run it on our games server).

I finally got to the bottom of it by running Morkeye with diagnostic logging switched on. I then issued the same pb commands manually in the console to see what was happening. Basically Morkeye wasn't identifying the correct user in the uconlist to delete. Also the console seems to insist on using a slot number to delete users rather than a username. Without deleting the old morkeye123 user the new details couldn't be setup.

Once I manually deleted the old morkeye123 user and manually entered the correct details for the new one everything worked as expected. I also had to save the pbsv.cfg otherwise the settings reverted when there was a pb restart.

I will forward more details to Jimbo to see if there is a bug that needs fixing.

when you add the line to the pbsv.cfg with the ip and the username and pw. use your ip not the one in the example Tongue
