Morkeye PBUcon
Ok, my head has gone with this, i have spent just over 9 hours trying to connect just once but just like most, no success. This screenshot shows how i have set everything up, and after about 573 times i give up. I tried forwarding ports but struggled with that as i'm not sure what port i'm supposed to forward. Also i have tried all versions of Morkeye with same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance......

Bit harsh... there are over 120 servers running MORKEye quite happily around the globe....

Anyway....in your case... looking at the screenshot, the port you should be forwarding on any software & hardware firewalls is 5555 and it's a UDP port.

http://portforward.com has a good guide to configuring port forwarding.

Also... I need to make sure you have configured the game server correctly (pbsv.cfg & pbucon.use files)... I need the pbucon.log data from the MORKEye folder and the corresponding pb log from the svlogs folder on your game server.... these logs will pinpoint the problem and may give rise to a solution.

It would also be better if you ran the latest version of MORKEye (V2) as the logs it produces are more comprehensive and the pbucon.log data is preserved for longer.

Still not working Sad

RE: Morkeye PBUcon
Hey Guys - We are having this same issue. We had MORKeye v1.08 build 651 running swimmingly on our server (Windows 2003 server x64-bit edition) from a remote PC (Windows XP Pro x64-bit).

We have removed v1.08 build 651 and attempted to set up MORKeye v2.01 (no build version referenced in the help tab...).

We set up the Pre-Installation Tasks in the setup PDF file in the archive packet. Our our gaming server, we created the empty pbucon.use file in the PB folder. We changed the pb_sv_sessionlimit = 1 (tried 1, 5, 10, and 3...) in the pbsv.cfg. We restarted PB by issuing the rcon admin command pb_sv_restart. As well, we tried rebooting the entire server during a no load period.

On the local PC hosting MORKeye v2.01, I have opened UDP ports 5555 and 5557 and I have tried connecting through both local ports.

We have read here for more input with no resolve: http://www.punksbusted.com/wiki/index.php/PBUCON

We do not have that log file in our PB folder. The only files we have are:

ban.txt
pbsvlog.cfg (file is empty)
pbsvmessages.cfg
pbsvuser.cfg
pbucon.use
server.cfg

Any insight or advise would be appreciated.

Hmm,i have a good Idear for all with Portprobs:

rent a small Windows Vserver! Its simpel to manage and your morkey is always running on your Server. You can making a Cooperation with Partnerclans to reduce Coasts for the Vroot and in my country you become Server for low (hard konkurrenz in Buisness).

This is a good Provider:

We have rent a Server at this company and going on in this week.

RE: Morkeye PBUcon
Ok, i have forwarded range 5553 - 5557 to an application named as MORKeye via my hub/router. I have done the same thing through my anti-virus software and windows firewall even though they are both disabled.
All i need to know is what the username and password is for the details in the PBucon file. In my pbsv.cfg this is what is placed....
pb_sv_uconadd 3 "192.168.1.64:5555" "morkeye" "morkeye"
Does that mean the username and password is morkeye?
Also, do i use my external IP or the HUB/Router IP?
