There was a problem communicating with the server..
Everything set up correctly per installation instructions and im getting this error message : There was a problem communicating with the server. Please try again. I cant figure out why this is happening..please help. Running Vista x64 trying to connect to a remote COD4 game server.

Could you please supply some more info. I.E. is MORKEye running on the game server or on another pc, Is the game server local or remote hosted.

Sound like you have a similar problem to what I had. Look under my post you may find a solution

Morkeye is running on my pc. it is a remote hosted game server.

I have it working now...for some reason whenever i use my router , i cant connect but when i eliminate the router , everything works fine...thing is , the ports were correctly mapped through my router.

were they mapped as UDP ports ?

Yes , they were UDP ports. im going to try another router today as i had 2 other members of my group test Morkeye through 2 different routers and they didnt have any problems getting it to work , and they didnt even map the ports. so im thinking my router may need to be replaced.

it was my router...for whatever reason , it was blocking the ports...i got a different router and everything works perfectly. thank you.
