MORKEye V2.2
I am currently testing V2.2 of MORKEye

Fixed auto ucon update resolving the persistent 'nil or old ucon entry found' message.
ref: (thread started by spawnz2 @ http://www.morkeye.co.uk/thread-273.html)

Added option to turn off the MORKEye quit confirmation dialog box.
ref: (togsj post in thread @ http://www.morkeye.co.uk/thread-141.html)

Added option to allow pbucon.log files to be archived.
ref: (thread started by ReDYeViL @ http://www.morkeye.co.uk/thread-302.html)

Added ability to specify own pbucon username & password.
ref: (thread started by blindsided @ http://www.morkeye.co.uk/thread-289.html)

A major new addition will be a basic web interface/readout for MORKEye... to start with this will be passive but I plan to update it with additional functionality enabling admins to control some of the basic functions of MORKEye via a web interface.

To cater for many of the options above (and some others) I have added an options window to the main MORKEye program.

I am also looking at adding an anti-spam option to stop console spammers.
ref: (request by target @ http://www.morkeye.co.uk/thread-285.html)

Regards

Jimbo

RE: MORKEye V2.2
Fantastic. When Can I trial it at My end. Fixing auto ucon update resolving the persistent 'nil or old ucon entry found' message will be great. Hopefully no more constant restarts.

Thanks again

RE: MORKEye V2.2
the ucon issue is definitely fixed as far as I can see... I've tested it to death.. Big Grin

below is a screenshot of the basic web interface...

currently it simply reads the monitor data but I hope to make it interactive in the near future..

RE: MORKEye V2.2
An update on progress on V2.2

It is little known that mod script errors are fed down through the pbucon data feed from the server. Poorly written mods causing script errors can quadrouple the amount of data streaming from the server causing MORKEye (or any other program using pbucon) to process more and more data often leading to data delays and sometimes data loss... To this end I have improved pbucon data processing allowing MORKEye to handle this problem more effectively, leading to a more responsive program.

Players have often tried to circumvent MORKEye by swearing in l33t speak or a combination of l33t & normal language.. ie.. (unt or f|_|ck etc... MORKEye can now read l33t and tranlate it back into regular text. This isn't an exact science and there are numerous forms of l33t speak but MORKEye does now cater for a range of l33t text leading to much improved bad language detection. MORKEye can now also better handle other forms of circumvention such as fffuuuuucccckkk and f u c k and f u ( k and many more combinations of multiple characters... multi spaced characters and l33t....

RE: MORKEye V2.2
locally yes... but if you want it accessible over the internet for others to see then you will need to make the necessary firewall adjustments.

RE: MORKEye V2.2
Thanks for the new version Jim which has cured the auto ucon and autoupdateip problems.

I am experiencing two new problems with this version:

Everytime I start it, it tells me that there is v2.2 available for download (even though I am running this version). I have even tried ticking the "disable future notices" (which I don't really want to do) but it still pops up again when I start the program.

Secondly the autostart has stopped working although I have changed nothing. I have checked my autostart.ini file and the sole entry I have is correct.

I am running on 64bit Windows 2008
